  • The creator, Xiaolu, gathers discarded, imperfect materials—surplus fabrics and yarns—and gives them a second life. Her work focuses on sustainable and recyclable fashion. She never cares about material labels, only about comfort for the wearer.

    “I am an outsider in the fashion world,” she says. “I’ve always been at the margins of society, but I only care about expression. Clothing, performance—anything can be a tool for me to speak.
